WE LIVE IN THE ERA OF VISUALS
People spend less and less time reading a message. They need visual and audio. People pay attention to what “hangsout’’ to them,
and more likely everyone is "hooked" by images. Therefore it is necessary for businesses to invest in quality photographs and videos,
since we live in the Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube era.
BUSINESS DOES NOT HAVE LARGE BUDGET FOR CREATING ADVERTISING CLIPS?
NO PROBLEM.
It is possible to create a good promotional product with a small budget.
Maybe the clip will not be of the highest quality from the technical side, however the attractiveness of its content will not give in to high-budget projects.
ARE YOU INTERESTED IN WHAT DETERMINES THE BUDGET OF THE PROJECT?
THE PRICE DEPENDS ON:
Scenario complexity
Complexity affects the entire production of the clip: the formation of the filming team, the choice of filming techniques, editing work, etc.
Clip duration
The longer the advertisement the more material needs to be filmed and processed. However, even a clip of 10 or 20 seclength can cost as much as 1 min especially if it requires a lot of editing and graphic design work.
Number and type of locations
Filming in a private apartment, house or office will cost less than at the Philharmonic or Zalgirio Arena. If there is more than one location, then it will cost extra for logistics and it will take longer, as the whole team will have to gather equipment and move from one place to another.
Number of actors
Obviously, being an advertising hero yourself will be cheaper than hiring dozens of professional actors or super models.
Number of filming shifts
It depends on the complexity of the scenario and the duration of the mentioned advertisement and the number of locations. This has probably the highest impact on the budget.
Team composition
The team can also consist of one photographer, one operator and a person who coordinates the whole production process, but it can also consist of ten or more people: make-up artists, image designers, interior designers, cameramen, sound directors, actors, etc.…
FEES
The fees of actors or freelancers are certainly not the last in the budget. Also, it needs to be assessed whether the soundtrack will be purchased or created individually.
